Welcome to Fairsnape Class – Year 1!
Our aim is to ensure that all children enjoy a smooth and happy transition from the Foundation Stage into Key Stage One.  The Year 1 curriculum builds upon and extends the rich experiences the children have had in Reception.  Learning through play continues to have an important role in our classroom and as the year progresses, the children will be gently introduced to more formal learning so that they remain motivated, enthusiastic and eager to learn.

Our team in Fairsnape Class is:

• Mrs Martin – Class Teacher on Mondays and Tuesdays
• Mrs Ashe – Class Teacher on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
• Miss Lord – Teaching Assistant from Monday to Thursday
