At St Wilfrid's, we are proud to be a Reading for Pleasure School.

We are currently in our second year of this Open University project.

We have revitalised our school libraries and developed reading areas in every classroom and around school to develop a real love of books and reading amongst each class in our school.

Teacher's knowledge and pedagogy have also developed through high-quality training and development sessions, including a whole school INSET session led by Professor Teresa Cremin.

This school year, we are looking to develop parental involvement with Reading for Pleasure...
